Who said that Nikoyan will become NA Vice-Speaker?
Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly today dismissed the allegations that he would be appointed vice-speaker in the newly formed National Assembly.
"Who said that I shall become vice-speaker?" Samvel Nikoyan told journalists during today's parliamentary briefing.
"Do have patience. You, journalists, have created a real mess. You have already ‘appointed' certain people to concrete positions. The country's president has nothing else to do but to sign de jure your de facto decisions," he said.
Speaking about the formation of a coalition government, Mr. Nikoyan said everything will become clear after May 24. On that day, the executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is to convene a sitting to discuss a number of issues, including the possibility of forming a coalition with parliamentary forces.
