HDK to form public parliament
The Democratic Party of Armenia (HDK) today announced its intention to form a public parliament in order to implement its pre-election pledges and programs.
"We have come to the conclusion that the party should not sit idle in the next five years and wait for the next elections," HDK Leader Aram Sargsyan said. "We are going to raise our concerns and problems through the public parliament and make our voice audible for the executive and legislative bodies. Committees have been formed to study social, economic, educational, scientific cultural and foreign issues."
