Names of ARF MPs still unknown
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation - Dashnaktsutyun has not decided yet which of its candidates included on the party's proportional ticket will enter parliament.
"As soon as we discuss the issue, we shall inform you," Spartak Seyranyan, a member of the ARF Supreme Body, told A1+.
Artyusha Shahbazyan, secretary of the ARF faction, says he does not possess definite information either.
During the May 6 parliamentary elections Dashnaktsutyun polled 5.67% and will be represented in the National Assembly by five MPs - Vahan Hovhannisyan, Armen Rustamyan, Artyusha Shahbazyan, Aghvan Vardanyan and Artsvik Minasyan.
However, according to press reports, Artyusha Shahbazyan and Artsvik Minasyan are going to relinquish their mandates. Karine Harutyunyan, a senior specialist of the education sphere, and Armen Babayan, Executive Director of Grand Candy Company, who take the 6th and 7th positions on the ARF party list, are expected to take seats in parliament.
Hermine Harutyunyan, a spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, says none of the candidates has submitted an application for withdrawal.
