Iran calls Ambassador back
Iran has called its Ambassador Mohammad Bagher Bahrami back from Azerbaijan.
This comes in response to the offensive remarks made against the country's spiritual leader, Ayatolla Ali Khomeini during a demonstration near the Iranian Embassy in Baku. Bahrami today left Azerbaijan to hold "consultations", but it is still unclear as to when he will return.
Iranian-Azerbaijani relations have been tense recently, reports the Voice of America.
