Nalbandyan: “We know what it means”
Armenia will continue making its contribution to the establishment and strengthening of peace, security and stability in Afghanistan until the dislocation of security support forces in 2014 and after that. This is what RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan declared in Chicago.
"The international community's efforts should be aimed at not allowing terrorism not only in Afghanistan, but elsewhere as well. We have witnessed that in our region and know what it means.
It is important to ensure positive changes in Afghanistan so that that country doesn't serve as a source of concern for its neighboring and other countries, but becomes a moving force for the region and uses its natural riches for the benefit of the people of Afghanistan, the country and the region," said Nalbandyan.
Armenia participated in the meeting of leaders of countries participating in the security support forces in Afghanistan and the delegation was headed by RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.
