NKR Defense Army: soldier died in mine explosion
The NKR Defense Army has confirmed that a soldier was killed in one of the local military units.
Private Armen Harutyunyan died during the explosion of a PMN-2 mine in an engineering military unit stationed in the southern direction of the Defense Army.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
Armen Harutyunyan, a 19-year-old citizen of Armenia's Gyumri city, was drafted into the army in December 2011.
