CIS observers present report on Armenian elections
CIS observer mission for Armenia's May 6 parliamentary election presented a report on the election results at the session of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
According to a press release by the RA National Assembly, CIS observers positively evaluated the conduct of the May 6 ballot in Armenia, emphasizing the equal opportunities provided for election participants, high professionalism of election commissions and healthy competition.
On May 15-18, an Armenian delegation was in Saint Petersburg to participate in the 37th plenary sitting of the CIS IPA. The delegation included MPs Artak Davtyan, Hrayr Karapetyan and Vice-Speaker Samvel Balasanyan.
