District head resigns to pursue personal interests
Head of Yerevan's Nor Nork administrative district, Melik Gasparyan, says he has resigned office to pursue personal business interests.
"There is no need to seek other reason behind my resignation," he told A1+.
Melik Gasparyan was relieved of his position earlier on Monday in accordance to his application. He was appointed Head of Nor Nork administrative district in September 2009 after the untimely death of former district head David Petrosyan.
