NCTR decided not to levy fine on “Kentron” and “Yerkir Media”
The National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) today dropped the administrative proceeding against "Kentron" and "Yerkir Media" TV companies.
By a 7-0 vote [in case of "Kentron"] and a unanimous vote [in case of "Yerkir Media,"] the NCTR decided not to fine the TV companies.
The administrative proceeding was instituted against the companies after a monitoring conducted by the NCTR revealed that the two TV companies did not provide equal footing to all political forces during the election campaign.
