6 candidates still liable
During today's special session, Chief of the Control Service of the RA Central Electoral Commission Sevak Hovhannisyan presented the reference prepared as a result of the inspection of the third declarations related to the payments that the deputy candidates under the majoritarian ticket have made to their funds and how they have used that money in the period between 1 April and 6 May 2012.
The Control Service Chief presented the statistics on the opening of pre-election funds and the submission of declarations. According to that information,
• 126 candidates opened pre-election funds, of which 124 have submitted the declarations on the payments and the use of the money to the Central Electoral Commission,
• 6 candidates still have liabilities of different amounts based on the contracts,
• out of the pre-election funds, 79 have remainders after the day of the vote, and 47 have no remainders,
• there has been one case of a payment exceeding the maximum amount established by the code for pre-election funds, reports the CEC press service.
