BHK candidate receives more votes
Head of the electoral commission at precinct N 12 Sona Sargsyan today summed up the results of the recount. This comes after non-partisan Robert Masumyan's proxies had filed an appeal for a recount.
"Lyova Khachatryan initially had 14,923 votes, and Robert Masumyan had 13,779. After the recount, Lyova Khachatryan now has 15,186 votes, while Robert Masumyan has 13,777 votes," the head of the electoral commission told Radio Liberty.
Lyova Khachatryan represents Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), and non-partisan Robert Masumyan supports the "Country of Law" Party (OEK).
