Leader of the People's Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan also gave a speech at Freedom Square.
Touching upon the conduct of free and fair elections during the parliamentary elections held on May 6, Demirchyan said:
"This government and fair elections are incompatible. The government's methods have remained unchanged, and those methods are multiple votes, the use of administrative resources and, of course, bribery."
Host of the rally Aram Manukyan suggested not holding a march since everyone was tired after the elections, and the suggestion was approved.
The HAK will go to Victory Park at 13:00 on May 9.
