Voters are being brought to precinct N 8 in Malatia district.

"They're mainly bringing the elderly and the disabled. They don't even know why they are there," said Khachatur Basmajyan, who is Armenian National Congress (HAK) deputy candidate Vahagn Khachatryan's proxy at precinct N 8/03.

The proxies say some youth are causing traffic at the polling station. Some people are bringing them to the polling station and following to see who they vote for.
Prosperous Armenia Party's (BHK) proxy complains that the proxies aren't able to handle the situation.

"This means that we are secondary. We're just sitting here. The President is the important person. The President is making it very clear that the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is the majority and it will win 99%," said BHK's proxy Tamara Vardanyan.

Vardanyan says the Republicans are the ones causing problems. Most of the commission members are HHK members and even the head of the commission is a HHK member.

The head of the electoral commission looked into Vardanyan's eyes and told her that if she continued to go against this, he would throw her out of the polling station.

"I'm not afraid of anyone. The worst they can do is fire me," said Vardanyan.

The head of the electoral commission Marat Apyan assured that the situation was under control. He added that people really wanted to participate in the elections and that is why there was so much accumulation.

"The proxies complained about the number of people, but we told them that it wasn't our fault. The people want to vote."

The candidates at precinct N 8 are Vahagn Khachatryan (HAK), Artur Yeghiazaryan (ARF-D) and Koryun Nahapetyan (HHK).
