“Headquarters won’t allow turbulence”

The Inter-Party Headquarters for Public Control over the Elections held a session without journalists a short while ago. leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan, BHK members Vardan Oskanyan and Vardan Vardanyan participated.

Among other participants were member of the Bureau of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) Vahan Hovhannisyan and permanent representative of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) Stepan Minasyan.

Politologist Hmayak Hovhannisyan, who is in charge of coordinating the activities of the headquarters, told journalists that the purpose of the special session was to discuss the disappearance of the stamps that should remain for 12 hours, the accumulation of voters at polling stations and the open votes.

The headquarters called on voters' active participation in the elections in order to reduce the amount of electoral fraud.

"The headquarters will take advantage of all the opportunities to prevent turbulence after the elections and secure the reputation of the elections," said Hmayak Hovhannisyan.
