The parliamentary elections for 131 deputies through the majoritarian and proportional electoral orders kicked off at exactly 8 a.m. Nine political parties are participating in the elections through the proportional electoral order, including the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), "Heritage" Party, the Armenian National Congress (HAK), the Democratic Party of Armenia, the Communist Party of Armenia, the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D), the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) and the United Armenians Party, while 147 candidates will be running for the deputy mandate.

The vote will be held at 1,982 polling stations of 41 precincts until 20:00.

There is a total of 2,484,003 voters included in the voters' register of the Republic of Armenia.

We remind that the lists signed by the participants of the vote won't be released. The Constitutional Court yesterday denied the appeal filed by the ARF-D and the BHK. The deputies had appealed by the request of the public control headquarters, which includes the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
