Mukuchyan responds to Zurabyan
President of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan has responded to the letter sent by head of the central headquarters of the "Armenian National Congress" alliance of parties Levon Zurabyan in which the latter demanded clarification of the "legitimacy of taking photos of voters' ballots".
In the response it is stated: "...Taking the above mentioned norms into consideration, the Central Electoral Commissin finds that voters can't take photos (or tape) their ballots since those actions may breach the principle of confidentiality of the vote established by the RA Constitution and the RA Electoral Code", reports the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
