Avagyants turns commander of fleet
President of the Russian Federation Dmitri Medvedev today issued a decree on appointing Deputy Admiral Sergey Avagyants Commander of the Fleet of the Pacific Ocean, reports the Kremlin's press service.
"Appoint Deputy Admiral Sergey Avagyants Commander of the Fleet of the Pacific Ocean and dismiss him from the head of the headquarters," as stated in the decree.
Before the issuing of this decree, Sergey Avagyants was the head of the headquarters of the first Deputy Commander of the Fleet of the Pacific Ocean.
