Like every Thursday, the residents of the homes located at Arami 72-89 in Kond district, the relatives of soldiers that died in peace and members of the "Army in Reality" initiative held a protest in front of the government building today.

Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan approached the residents of the Kond district, heard their complaint, promised to get acquainted with their issue and called Head of the Project Implementation Office Lyova Hakobyan and assigned him to approach the residents.

"We have met Lyova Hakobyan several times. He can't help us. Our number one issue today is the apartment rents. The DownTown company hasn't been giving our compensations for a month now, and the landowners don't care," said Kond district resident Garegin Safaryan.

Garegin Safaryan started getting frustrated and screamed, after which he lost consciousness and was in need of help.

Another woman lost consciousness in another part of the building and both were shown medical assistance.

The relatives of the soldiers who died in peace were standing near the stairs to the building with a photo reading "We believed and nothing changed". They don't believe in anything anymore.

"On January 27, 2011, Serzh Sargsyan promised us that this issue would be solved. After a year and a half, nothing has changed and now he wants the people to believe in him. What should we believe in?" said Nana Muradyan, mother of soldier Valerik Muradyan who died in peace.
