Armenian Defense Minsiter off to Astana
A delegation headed by Armenia's Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan today left for the Astana, Kazakhstan, to participate in the sitting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) scheduled for May 3.
Issues related to the organization of the "Cooperation-2012" joint military exercises in Armenia, development and improvement of military cooperation between CSTO member states will be discussed during the sitting.
Within the framework of the visit, Seyran Ohanyan will hold a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart and will visit the Codex-2012 international exhibition of armament and military equipment. The Armenian oficial will also be hosted by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
