Galust Sahakyan: There will be war
The Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) is not ready to become opposition after the May 6 parliamentary elections.
"I see no political prerequisites for it. Which force shall we oppose - the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun?" the HHK senior representative said adding that his party would be a mighty opposition force.
He said that the HHK had passed a long path with its junior coalition partner Rule of Law (OYK).
"We even opposed each other," said Mr Sahakyan.
During the press conference, the Republican MP said the Dashnaktsutyun had not withdrawn from the ruling coalition because of the controversial Armenian-Turkish Protocols.
"They predicted the forthcoming economic crisis and shrank from responsibility. Not it is time that they answer before the people," said Sahakyan.
Dwelling on the HHK campaign, Galust Sahakyan said people do not attend their meetings by force; rather, they fully realize that ‘they must vote for the HHK, if you do not want war.'
