CC to consider constitutionality of certain provisions
The Constitutional Court of Armenia will hold a sitting on May 5 to consider the proposal co-authored by the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun.
They demand that the Court declare unconstitutional part 1 of Article 11 of the Electoral Code, part 3 of Article 31, part 2 of Article 1 before the May 6 polls.
If the Court upholds the claim, the list of voters, who participated in the elections, will be published in all polling stations after the election day. The authors of the initiative say it will help know the exact number of vote participants.
