Deputy of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, ex-Deputy Minister of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Vitali Balasanyan today announced that he would be running in the NKR presidential elections, reports the NKR Central Electoral Commission. Vitali Balasanyan is the second presidential candidate, and the incumbent President Bako Sahakyan is already running in the elections.

The deadline for candidates to apply for participation in the elections is May 5 at 18:00.
