Good music ensures votes
Political parties are using the most primitive methods during the election campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia.
"They simply say they're the best, tell voters to vote for them and that the others are very bad. They also use coarse methods like electoral bribes, pledges and use their administrative resources," psychologist Samvel Khudoyan said in an interview with "A1+".
According to him, simple methods of propaganda make the voters show resistance and they start not trusting those who apply those methods.
However, the methods of sub-consciousness that are common in the West don't cause the people's resistance and have a stronger impact.
"If, for instance, the audience is touched by music and if that music is accompanied by the given political party's emblems and speeches, that positive impression has an impact on the given political party. If there is a positive attitude, then voters will have reasons to justify their sub-conscientious selection," mentioned Samvel Khudoyan.
The psychologist says most voters don't believe that the elections can change anything because they keep hearing that the parties are listing voters and promising electoral bribes.
