Artsakh President visits Sos village, listens to villagers’ complaints
On April 26, President of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the village of Sos in Martouni region to meet local population.
The visit was initiated following the request of a group of villagers who complained of the activities of the community's head.
After listening to the villagers' opinions on the issue, Bako Sahakyan stressed that the community was the primary level of governance that presupposes effective functioning of other levels. Hence, issues existing here are on the spotlight of the authorities' attention. Bako Sahakyan entrusted the NKR Cabinet of Ministers, the Public Prosecutor's Office and Police to investigate in details the situation and submit corresponding suggestions.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Spartak Tevosyan and other officials accompanied President Bako Sahakyan, Artaskh President's Press Service reports.
