HDK gives its approval to civilized rules of competition
The Democratic Party of Armenia (HDK) issued a statement, expressing its approval to a draft document agreed between the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Rule of Law (OEK), Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun and Communist Party of Armenia (HKK).
In a statement issued on Friday, the HDK council said it will follow the rules enshrined in the document which aims to ensure free and fair competition during the May 6 parliamentary elections.
On April 17, 18, 19, 23 and 25, 2012, the aforesaid parties held discussions over the joint document aimed at ensuring civilized and equal footing during the May 6 polls.
A couple of days ago, the HHK Executive Body addressed a message calling on all the HHK members to follow the "rules" before and during the parliamentary elections. Yesterday the OEK Political Council issued a similar statement, stating its intention to follow the principles incorporated in the document.
