Armenia's number one Communist, Comrade Ruben Tovmasyan, who has three children and seven grandchildren, says the Communist Party of Armenia will definitely win in the May 6 parliamentary elections.

"This time the party will garner quite a lot of votes and we will definitely be represented in the National Assembly."

The leader of the party spreading the ideology of Socialism is campaigning just like the party campaigning in the Soviet era.

"We're talking to people through agitators and studying public opinion."

Through these talks and meetings, Comrade Tovmasyan has become convinced that the Communists have a large army of young voters.

Comrade Ruben Tovmasyan says the 200,000-member Communist Party pledges to regain all that it has achieved over the past 70 years of Soviet rule as soon as it enters the National Assembly.

Before the May 6 elections, the Communists have another chance to show their power and force.

"We're getting ready to celebrate May 1st, International Labor Day. I call on all Armenians to join us near the statue of Saryan at 12:00 on May 1."
