“Karot”’s march to embassy
Like previous years, this year the "Karot" Armenian non-governmental organization and local organizations held a torch-march dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide that started from the Parliament of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and ended at the Turkish Embassy. The event saw a turnout of more than 150 people.
According to Head of "Karot" NGO Varuj Vardanyan, the organization's goal is to unite organizations of Armenia and the Diaspora to develop a broad plan for cooperation to mark the Armenian Genocide Centennial. According to the plan, on April 24, 2015, all Armenians around the world will be present at the demonstrations and ceremonies of mourning at the same time.
