Serzh Sargsyan got “mixed up” in milk issue
Milk producers in Kotayk province have stopped their protests after their demand was met.
According to the villagers, Serzh Sargsyan has assigned milk-producing companies to not produce 1 liter of milk at a price lower than 150 drams.
"True, it's still not in our favor, but we couldn't do anything else," villager Senik Grigoryan told "A1+".
This year milk producers purchase 1 liter of milk from villagers for 130-140 drams instead of the previous 180 drams and there are even rumors going around that the price of milk will go down to 90 drams.
The villagers had held several protests in front of the government building and the Ministry of Agriculture.
