Explosion in downtown Yerevan
An explosion occurred yesterday evening at 27 Tumanyan in Yerevan after a young man decided to do the deed on a transformer inside a building entrance.
Eyewitnesses say they heard a loud explosion which was followed by power cutoff.
"Then we saw a young man with his pants down and his face burnt being carried on stretcher to an ambulance car," they said.
The man was identified as Vahe Asatryan, 29, who lives at 14 Baghramyan, Yerevan.
