Sargsyan receives Diaspora Armenian writers
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a group of Diaspora Armenian writers from France, Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel who are in Yerevan to participate in the 6th Pan-Armenian Conference of Writers.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the preservation of the Armenian identity abroad, as well as the dissemination of the Armenian language among Armenians in the Diaspora and literature. The Diaspora Armenian writers expressed willingness to act as ambassadors of the Armenian language for the benefit of the preservation and development of Armenian literary heritage abroad.
Earlier, several Diaspora Armenian writers had received commemorative medals of the Prime Minister for their contributions to the preservation of the Armenian identity abroad.
