‘People find unjustified reasons for their steps’
Chairman of the Union of Political Scientists Hmayak Hovhannisyan thinks the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and parliamentary opposition Heritage Party have reached a secret agreement over the elections.
"If political forces assess events and developments in the same way, it means they have come to an agreement," he said.
Hmayak Hovhannisyan reminds that after HHK faction head Galust Sahakyan decided to quit the public oversight headquarters, Heritage followed suit.
With regard to Heritage MP Stepan Safaryan's allegation that the joint headquarters in fact serves as the campaign office of Robert Kocharyan, Mr Hovhannisyan said, "When people take dishonest steps, they always seek to find unjustified reasons for them."
