Syrian opposition delegates to travel to Moscow
Members of the Syrian opposition will visit Moscow next week, Russian Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Alexander Lukashevich said.
Earlier this week, members of the opposition National Coordination Body met with Russian diplomats in Moscow. We expect to meet delegates of the Syrian National Front next week," said the Russian official.
Neither Syrian opposition delegation nor Russian officials provided details about discussions.
Russia, along with China, has twice shielded Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime from proposed UN sanctions over its deadly crackdown on a popular uprising.
