Candidate denied
Support A1+!On April 8, the RA Police Tashir division received a message from deputy candidate Anushavan Nikoghosyan that on the same day, the mayor of Tashir had prohibited him from posting posters in the city.
Materials were prepared in relation to the case, during which Anushavan Nikoghosyan mentioned that he had signed a contract with the EGA Ltd to post election posters on his billboards in Stepanavan and tashir.
On 8 April 2012, employees of EGA Ltd. K. Gogyan and A. Manukyan, in accordance with a previously reached agreement, left for Tashir. The deputy candidate informed that at around 18:00, K. Gogyan called him, saying that Mayor of Tashir Nshan Soghoyan and several others approached him while he was posting the posters in the city and prohibited him from posting the posters with threats to settle a score with him.
Gogyan and Manukyan have denied Anushavan Nikoghosyan's fact that Nshan Soghoyan had threatened and demanded that they leave the city.
Gogyan and Manukyan also informed that Mayor of Tashir Nshan Soghoyan had demanded that they submit the permission to post an advertisement and documents regarding the grounds for that. Informed that they didn't have the permission, the mayor proposed to terminate activities and continue them after the documents were submitted.
During the preparation of the materials, there has not been any evidence on the posting of election posters, the intentional hindering of the realization of Anushavan Nikoghosyan's electoral vote and the threats against Gogyan and Manukyan, but it was corroborated that Mayor of Tashir Nshan Soghoyan, implementing his official powers, had tried to find out the reason for posting the election poster, hadn't threatened anyone for that and hadn't committed any act that goes against the RA Criminal Code. The criminal case was denied on April 14 on the grounds of lack of evidence.
