The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has had the most airtime on television, followed by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) in second place, "Country of Law" Party (OEK) in third place, "Heritage" Party in fourth place, the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) in fifth place, the Armenian National Congress (HAK) in sixth place, the Democratic Party of Armenia in seventh place, the Communists in eighth place and finally, the United Armenians Party in ninth place," says President of the National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) Grigor Amalyan.

The NCTR has released the primary results of the monitoring of radio and television stations for the May 6 parliamentary elections.

Grigor Amalyan still hopes the United Armenians Party will reach Prosperous Armenia Party in terms of airtime. All television stations have been warned to "try to balance the campaign".

Amalyan informed that the NCTR still hasn't applied any administrative fines for violation of the order of the campaign. "At this moment, we can't view this inequality as a violation of the law because there hasn't been any violation throughout the election campaign."

Nevertheless, the NCTR President is satisfied with the fact that television stations provided airtime to all political parties during the first week of the campaign.

"The NCTR hasn't received any alarms or complaints from citizens, the deputy candidates, the political parties or the alliances of political parties."

Before the press conference, Amalyan had informed that the "Heritage" Party deputy Armen Martirosyan was discontent with "Yerkir Media" TV's lack of impartiality. Grigor Amalyan demanded that the television station provide a video to understand whether the "Heritage" Party's deputy was right to complain or not.
