HHK and OEK haven’t accepted yet
Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan today met the heads of the election headquarters of the United Armenians and Prosperous Armenia parties and discussed the opportunities for the consulting and observations of the Ombudsman in the elections.
The Ombudsman suggested cooperation before, in-between and after the elections.
During the meeting, among other issues, the United Armenians Party particularly indicated the government's use of administrative resources before the elections and the existence of an atmosphere of fear among those owning private areas.
The head of the BHK's election headquarters was content with the developments taking place before the elections and hadn't registered any issues, except for certain discrepancies in voters' lists.
At this moment, only the "Country of Law" Party (OEK) and the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) haven't responded to the Ombudsman's offer to meet.
The Ombudsman's next meeting will be held with the leaders of the Armenian National Congress's election headquarters tomorrow, reports the RA Ombudsman's Office.
