Armenian FM, German official discuss Karabakh peace process
Support A1+!Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Monday Cornelia Pieper, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
Minister Nalbandian underlined that the cooperation between Armenia and Germany has greatly expanded in political, economic, cultural and educational-scientific spheres and voiced hope that the opening of a German-language center in Yerevan will give new impetus to the bilateral relations.
The interlocutors discussed the issues on the Armenian-German bilateral agenda and referred to the developments in the Caucasus and the neighboring regions. They also dwelt on Armenia-EU relations, hailing the considerable progress registered in the sphere.
The parties discussed the ways of expanding cooperation in the cultural and scientific-educational spheres.
At the request of the guest, Minister Nalbandian presented the latest developments in the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement.
