Police: 2.482.593 people in voter register
The number of voters in Armenia stands at 2.482.593, according to the official data released on April 16.
According to the information provided by the Armenian Police, 684 people are registered in other communities, temporarily withdrawn from their community's voting list and included in the additional voting list. Forty 46 voters are not registered in Armenia and join the list of the nearest polling station on the voting day, and 11 are those expected to work at the polling stations on the voting day, to be included in the additional list of police officers voting at the polling stations.
Parliamentary elections are due to take place on May 6, 2012.
