CEC approves withdrawals
During a special session today, the Central Electoral Commission approved the withdrawal appeals of the 116th candidate on the Republican Party of Armenia's (HHK) proportional list Narine Mirzoyan, Hayk Sultanyan running at precinct N 35, Hayk Barsamyan running at precinct N 38 and non-partisan Susanna Abrahamyan running at precinct N 40.
We mention that Narine Mirzoyan is the wife of well-known film director Tigran Khzmalyan, and Head of Gyumri Beer Ltd. Laboratory registered at precinct N 35 (Gyumri) Hayk Sultanyan was competing with the same factory's owner, Vice-Chairman of the RA National Assembly Samvel Balasanyan. After Sultanyan's withdrawal, Balasanyan is now the only candidate running at precinct N 35.
