Martun Grigoryan: “The suspect is not a BHK member”
Deputy of the National Assembly, election candidate of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Martun Grigoryan denies the information that he is the godfather of Harutyun Sargsyan, who is suspected of murdering Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan's son-in-law.
"I know the suspect and also knew the victim. I had normal relations with both of them," Martun Grigoryan told "A1+".
He knows why the murder of Vardan Ghukasyan's son-in-law is being politicized and links it to the BHK.
"I'm running through the majoritarian electoral order. They're trying to throw dirt at me," says the BHK candidate.
Ghukasyan yesterday announced that those arrested for the murder are "prominent members of the BHK headquarters in Gyumri". Martun Grigoryan said according to his sources, one of the detainees is Harutyun. "Neither Harutyun nor his family members is a BHK member."
Grigoryan knows which political party is trying to throw dirt at him. We remind that BHK member Martun Grigoryan is running at precinct N 34 that includes Gyumri and his main opponent is member of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Arman Sahakyan.
