“Parties are ready to admit meet with outspread arms”
Armenian businesswoman Silva Hambardzumyan says political parties will admit her to their ranks with outstretched arms.
Talking to A1+, the businesswoman dismissed the allegations that after an offence from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), she applied to the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) for membership but was rejected immediately.
Silva Hambardzumyan says she has her favorite party and is working for its victory.
"I cannot name that party today, I shall do it after the elections," she said.
The businesswoman became well-known in different circles after last year's incident with Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan during which the governor reportedly assaulted and beat the woman in the Armenia Marriott Hotel. It came after the businesswoman accused the governor of misappropriating mining equipment worth more than 100 million drams from her gold mine.
