"500 Votes" Social Research Group has released the results of a "secret ballot" project carried out in Yerevan on April 6.

The group volunteers conducted a survey in all prefectures of the Armenian capital by giving respondents a questionnaire similar to the ballot paper. In all administrative districts, the polling began and ended simultaneously. The poll lasted three days, with about 800 people being surveyed every day. Citizens were also given envelopes where they enclosed the filled-in questionnaires. To ensure complete confidentiality of the ‘secret ballot' no information was provided about the voter's name, age and gender.

About 384 ballots out of 2,400 were recognised as invalid. Total valid ballots (2016) bore the note, "Which party would you vote for, if the parliamentary elections were held this Sunday?"

Below are the results of the ‘secret vote;'
Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) - 41,5%
Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) - 20,5%
