Won’t organize rallies, people are hungry
First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia Ruben Tovmasyan says the party will win in the May 6 parliamentary elections, if voters are just and don't sell their conscience.
Tovmasyan today had a meeting with war and labor veterans. According to him, Armenians today have to vote for the Communist Party so that "their children remain educated".
The Communists met with people who long for the years of Communism.
War and labor veteran Rafael Saghatelyan, 89, has been working at the Polytechnic Institute for 60 years. He assured that there was progress in all spheres during the Soviet Union and that now it was the opposite.
The war and labor veteran proudly remembers how the graduates of his institute were appreciated in all parts of the Soviet Union.
The Communist Party has announced that it won't be holding rallies throughout its campaign.
"The people are hungry, and some political parties are organizing fireworks displays, inviting singers and playing music," said Ruben Tovmasyan.
The party representatives say they will be having face-to-face contact with their voters.
