No ceasefire violation
On April 12, according to a preliminary agreement with the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities, the OSCE mission held a planned monitoring toward Askeran at the line of contact of the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani armed forces.
The monitoring group at the positions of the NKR Defense Army were field assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Irzhi Aberlen (Czech Republic), as well as representative of the high-level planning group, Colonel Andrey Barashkin (Russia).
From the opposite side of the line of contact were Coordinator of the Office of the Personal Representative of the Chairman-in-Office Peter Key (Great Britain), field assistant Kristo Kristov (Bulgaria) and representative of the High Level Planning Group, Colonel Ilham Deirmenoglu (Turkey).
The monitoring was held according to plan and there were no ceasefire violations registered.
The monitoring mission from the Karabakhi side was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, reports the NKR MFA press service.
