Bako Sahakyan going to reclaim presidency
President of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan today announced his intention to reclaim the country's presidency.
Mr Sahakyan today partook at an enlarged meeting of the regional administration in Martakert where he said he opts to self-nominate for a second term. When elaborating his decision, the Artsakh President said ‘he feels responsibility to accomplish all the projects that have been launched during the five years of his presidency.'
Bako Sahakyan considered crucial the confidence of the people as the supreme political authority, underlining that only being vested with such confidence it would be possible to solve issues our republic faces and carry out all the projects directed to make Artsakh prosper.
Presidential elections in Artsakh are scheduled for June 19
