HHK disrupts lessons in Etchmiadzin
The schools and clinics in Armenia's Etchmiadzin city were on "strike" on Wednesday. The reason for the disrupted work schedules was the pre-election visit of the Republican Party (HHK) Leader Serzh Sargsyan.
A1+'s journalist visited two local schools where lessons were interrupted in connection with the pre-election meeting.
Serzh Sargsyan held a short meeting with the locals at the city's central square. In his speech he urged Etchmiadzin citizens to vote for Seyran Saroyan (also known as Sedrak Saroyan), an MP affiliated with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
Etchmiadzin is the most populous city in Armavir province, located about 18 km west of Yerevan.
