R. Hovannisian: People will believe us in 30 days”
The opposition Heritage party today announced the onset of its election campaign, with party leader Raffi Hovannisian declaring their wish to wake up in a new Armenia after the election day.
The party started its election campaign at the Armenia Marriott hotel in Yerevan under the "We are coming."
Leader of the Free Democrats party Khachatur Kokobelyan, who is running for parliament in a joint list with the Heritage party, introduced Raffi Hovannisian as the new leader of Armenia. After embracing the presentees, the Heritage leader said the key to success does not lie in his personality or his family.
"We are going to build up a new Armenia together. We are going to pass the victorious path together," the Heritage leader said in his opening remarks.
Mr Hovannisian is confident that the criticism over the alliance between the two parties [Heritage and Free Democrats] will continue during the campaign.
"I say here and now that I forgive everyone, without exclusion, I forgive them for their wrong words and phrases," he said.
Raffi Hovannisian strongly believes in his party's victory in the elections.
"Those who do not confident of our success will become convinced in 30 days," he said.
