Film about Armenian Genocide shown in Iran
Manoto 1, a Persian-language TV channel, showed on Sunday evening prominent British historian Laurence Gardner's documentary dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.
The one-hour documentary was filmed in France in 2005 and was translated into Persian with the help of the Iranian TV Company.
While local Armenians and Iranians hailed the presentation of the film, Azerbaijanis criticized the move. Iranian Armenians requested the channel to show it again on April 24.
