Armenian women deputies on quantity and quality
Armenian women solve all issues with honor, including in the political field, say Armenian women political figures.
"Even today in politics, which I think is the most difficult field, Armenian women play a serious role, and I can say that they do a lot more than men," said Deputy of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) Ruzan Arakelyan.
Arakelyan doesn't attach importance to quantity of deputies, but quality in parliament. She doesn't agree with "Heritage" Party representative Anahit Bakhshyan, who says women only speak about the quality of women deputies and not about the quality of male deputies.
The women representing different political parties shared one idea during their press conference today, and that is that deputies should never forget why they have been elected as deputies, regardless of gender.
"Deputies must take responsibility and be able to overcome all difficulties, regardless of gender," said Deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Karine Atchemyan.
