New Conservatives to back Tsarukyan’s party
The New National Conservative Movement (Chair Edgar Helhelyan) has issued a statement, expressing its intention to support the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) during the May 6 parliamentary elections.
"Given the internal and external political situation;
highlighting the need for changes in the country's political life;
considering that the main reason for the country's political failures and defeats are the stagnation of political arena and one-party system;
realising that the acting authorities are unable to bring the country out of the socio-economic crisis;
the New National Conservative Movement announces that it is going to back Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia Party during the upcoming parliamentary vote. We believe that the BHK will shoulder the responsible mission of leading the country to peaceful and stable development, will take measures to suspend migration, surmount the socio-economic crisis and create a healthy political atmosphere," the party said urging its members and supporters to vote for the BHK during the May 6 vote.
