Sharmazanov: “It is very important”
As a EU-member state, Greece is willing to show its support to Armenia in further reinforcement of relations with EU structures. This is what Acting Ambassador of Greece to the Republic of Armenia Vasiliki Dikopulu said during a meeting with Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov.
At the guest's request, Sharmazanov touched upon the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia and mentioned: "It is very important for Armenia to hold democratic elections. It is also important for the people to trust and believe in the reforms."
During the meeting, the sides touched upon the development of inter-parliamentary relations, the Nagorno-Karabakh and Cypriot conflicts, Armenian-Turkish relations, the economic crisis in Greece and the directions for solving the crisis, as well as the daily issues of the Greek and Armenian communities and the integration of both communities, reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of the National Assembly
